El Horror de Dunwich
Ya está a la venta el tomo Gay Terror, una recopilación de parodias de cuentos terroríficos en tono gay a cargo de lo más puntero del cómic patrio, y en el que modestamente participio con la historia de 10 páginas El Horror de Dunwich.
Un relato de horrores abisales innombrables, dioses primigenios, actores porno, gloss, drags y mucho marisco, y que mantuvo alejado de cualquier otro trabajo, como La Mierda Ocurre, todo Marzo y principios de Abril.
Aquí tenéis un pequeño deglose del proceso creativo de algunas viñetas.

Already hit the stores the trade-paperback Gay Terror, a compilation of classic horror story parodies in a gay way by the hottest of spanish comic artists, in wich I modestly participate with the 10 pages short story The Dunwich Horror.
A tale of abysmal unspeakable horrors, primeval Gods, porn actors, gloss, drag queens and lots of shellfish, wich kept me apart of any other business, like my webstrip Shit Happens, all March 'till early April.

Charla "entre blogs y cómics" en Fnac Sevilla
Ayer (de izquierda a derecha) yo mismo, Luis Torres de La Cripta del Terror, Paco de Giralcómic y Paco Cerrejón de Veleta, dimos una extensa y amena charla en el foro de Fnac Sevilla sobre blogs y cómics, enmarcada dentro del IX Encuentro del Cómic y la Ilustración de Sevilla.Aquí tenéis algunas instantáneas, cortesía de la gente de Veleta a través de interesante blog que llevan sobre el desarrollo de las jornadas.
Yesterday (left to right) myself, Luis Torres from The Vault of Horror, Paco from Giralcómic and Paco Cerrejón from Veleta, gave an extensive talk at the Seville's Fnac forum about blogs and comic-books, as part of the city's IX Comic and Illustration Meetings.

Exposición 'Claro Que Sí COMICS': Arhamis
Una vez terminada la primera sede de la Exposición "Claro que sí COMICS" en Vilanova, aquí tenéis mi ilustración a tinta. El dibujo se titula Arhamis, en honor a su ilustre y bien parecido modelo, que tuvo a bien soportar mis neuras. Un cacho pan ahí donde le véis, con toda la pinta de chulazo que tiene.

The illustration is called Arhamis, honoring its distinguished and good looking model, who never gave up on me despite all my craze. He's such a good person, as well as a hottie

LMO # 294: ¿la concesión del texto?
Terminando de pasar a tinta la tira 294 de LA MIERDA OCURRE, me debatía con los diálogos de la misma.
La idea es que el sofá, viejo y hecho polvo, al engullirte te mandara al país de las Maravillas. Y en un principio pensé que la idea se explicaba por sí misma con la narración, pero de un tiempo a esta parte hay gente que me comenta que no entienden los chistes (en muchos casos porque realmente no lo son, y en otros porque hay una escala Kinsey de risas), y me acojoné.
Al final puse un par de bocadillos que, sin resultar cristalinos, dejaban la tira más accesible.
Sí, al final me acojoné.
Aquí tenéis las dos versiones, con texto y sin texto, como originalmente fue ideada, a ver qué os parece el cambio con una intervención tan menor :
When I was finishing inking SHIT HAPPENS strip # 294 I was struggling with its dialogue.
Main concept was that the couch, old and finished, while swallowing you was also sending you to Wonderland. And at first I thought that the idea was self-explained with the storytelling, but I've been questioned for some time about my jokes being laughable (most cases because thay are really not jokes, and many other times because there is a Kinsey laugh scale also), and I kinda freaked out.
At the end, I putted a couple of balloons, without being completely evident, made the strip more accessible.
Yeah, I shitted on my pants.
Here you have the 2 versions, with text and without it, as It was originally designed, let's see what do you think of the change caused by a lesser intervention like this one.
